Composite antioxidant 215/225/220/561

Description

B 225 by BASF is a blend of 50% 168 and 50% 1010. 168 protects the polymers which are prone to oxidation and 1010 contributes synergitically to polymer stabilization during processing. It is a processing and long-term thermal stabilizer with a relatively high phenolic antioxidant content. It maintains original melt flow and offers low color formation.
It is compatible with polyamide, TPE, synthetic rubber, polyolefin and olefin-copolymers such as polyethylene, polypropylene, polybutene and ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymers, engineering plastics, polyurethanes, styrene homo- and copolymers.
B 225 is approved for use in food contact applications.
It is AICS, DSL, IECSC, ELINCS, ENCS, ECL, TSA, PICCS, BUWAL and TSCA listed grade.

● Compounding principles: Compound antioxidants are specially formulated by mixing the main antioxidant (phenols) and the auxiliary antioxidant (phosphites) in a certain proportion. This product is a compound of antioxidant 1010 and antioxidant 168.
