Description

Chiguard® 3053 is a synergistic blend of stabilizers specifically designed for coatings. It provides outstanding

performance for a wide variety of clear and pigmented coating systems. It is suitable for both water-borne and

solvent-borne applications. Its superior effectiveness is particularly pronounced in improved thermal stability, good color maintenance and long-term thermal and UV light stabilization.

Suggested Application

Chiguard® 3053 is especially recommended for the clear and light pigmented applications such as wood coatings, PUR systems, UPES/Styrene gel coats, UV radiation curing systems based on acrylics and UPES. The use levels of Chiguard® 3053 range between 0.5% and 4% are recommended for protection. It depends on the substrate and performance requirements of the final application.
