Description

It is of the high thermal stability and high compatibility in various polymers. It is especially suitable for industrial and automotive coatings. UV-384-2 can be enhanced when used in combination with a HALS stabilizer such as UV-292 or UV-123. These combinations improve the durability of clear costs by inhibiting or retarding the occurrence of failures such as gloss reduction, cracking, color change, blistering and elamination. The amount of UV-384-2 required for optimum performance should be determined in trials covering a concentration range.

Chiguard® 5582WB is an emulsion-type UV absorber with benzotriazole as the active ingredient, designed for water-based coating applications. It is especially recommended to be added to water-based resins that are not suitable for general-purpose water-based UV absorbers - Chiguard®3053.

Main product features and advantages

Chiguard® 5582WB has many unique advantages:

● The emulsifier content is extremely low, and it is not easy to cause problems such as foaming and demulsification.

● It can be quickly miscible with water-based resins.

● It does not affect the fluidity of the coating.

● It does not contain resins, diluents and thickeners to avoid compatibility problems.

● It does not contain solvents or film-forming aids.

● It can be miscible with other water-based light stabilizers of ChiTi Technology in any proportion to form a uniform emulsion.

Application

Chiguard® 5582WB is suitable for architectural coatings, OEM primers, OEM varnishes, repair paints and industrial coatings. Applications include:

● Clear and colored exterior wood coatings

● Plastic coatings

● Glass coatings

● Water-based industrial coatings ● Adhesives

Storage

If stored at room temperature and the seal integrity of this product is maintained, the shelf life of this product can reach 12 months from the date of manufacture. Once opened, be sure to lock the lid to prevent moisture evaporation. Storage temperature must avoid being below 10°C or above 40°C, otherwise it will have an adverse effect on the quality of this product. If demulsification occurs due to long-term storage, please contact our company for assistance.
