Revonox°U-5068L(U-5068L) Antioxidants

Description 

 

Revonox°U-5068L (U-5068L) is a functional compound heat stabilizer system developed by QiTi for polyurethane elastomers (TPU).
U-5068L is designed with the highly efficient patented carbon-centered free radical scavenger Revonox0501 as the core. The components include antioxidants and heat stabilizers to create excellent synergistic effects.
U-5068L is a multifunctional heat stabilizer. In the synthesis process of thermoplastic polyurethane elastomers, it provides the necessary excellent initial color and can effectively improve the yellowing of oven heat aging (Figure 1).
In terms of physical property control, U-5068L will not cause hydrolysis problems. In the hydrolysis test of 95% humidity/80℃/168 hours, it still maintains more than 80% of the tensile strength retention rate (Figure 3).
In addition, U-5068L does not cause smoke discoloration. In TPU film applications, U-5068L can effectively inhibit the formation of crystal points, which is a performance that conventional antioxidants cannot provide.
U-5068L is suitable for polyether, polyester, or other modified TPU systems. Added in the synthesis stage, the recommended addition amount is 0.3-0.5%; for applications with oven aging or long-term hot baking requirements, the recommended addition amount is
0.5-1.0%.
