Description

Chiguard® 3253 by Chitec Technology acts as an ultraviolet (UV) light stabilizer. It is a synergistic blend of Chiguard® 5530 and Chiguard® 353. It exhibits superior effectiveness in improved thermal stability, good color maintenance and long-term thermal & UV light stabilization.

 

 
 Chiguard® 3253 is a liquid, synergistic, functional stabilizer designed for coatings. It exhibits excellent performance in a variety of transparent and colored coating systems, with outstanding benefits including improved thermal stability, good color protection and long-term UV stability.
 
Recommended Applications
Chiguard® 3253 is particularly recommended for use in transparent and light-colored coating systems, such as wood coatings, PUR systems, UPES/styrene gelcoats, and UV-curing systems based on acrylic and UPES. It is suitable for water-based and solvent-based coatings. The recommended dosage range of Chiguard® 3253 is between 0.5% and 4% to achieve the protective effect. The actual addition amount depends on the substrate and performance requirements of the final application.
